Romans 10:17 declares that “faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” (NLT) That being the case, as our faith grows, our hope is strengthened. The foundation of our hope is Christ himself. He is our hope. Thus, our faith in Him, secures our future. It guarantees our fellowship with Christ, according to 1 Corinthians 1:9.

That fellowship with Christ includes dedication and devotion to each other. It means that God, being faithful, will not leave His promises undone. Vice versa, we are called to share in that commitment toward Him and others.

As we hear more about the Good News of Christ, our faith will grow. We will be encouraged, even in the toughest of times, knowing that while we only suffer for a “little while,” our tomorrows will be better because of the hope we have placed in Christ. (1 Peter 5:10)
